Targets (G324 - Making a Trailer)

We set a few targets for this year when making a trailer as we came across many barriers in the filming process of our opening two minutes

This year we will ensure that the conditions we film in are appropriate and allow us to create a successful film. Also, we will ensure that we are using the correct piece of technology which is suitable for filming to a high quality. As a result of the bad quality, we had to delete all of the diegetic sound in our opening two minutes. Hopefully, this will not be the case this year and we will be able to keep all of the ambient, diegetic sound making it seem more natural.

We will also ensure that we film things more than once as we found that last year we struggled; where we found some errors in certain clips that we had only filmed ones. By filming more than once, we will have the option to choose the best filming to ensure there are no mistakes.

Another barrier from last year was the weather conditions which were a problem for us as we were filming outside and one of our characters had to lay on the ground which was wet and the time due to rain the morning before filming. This year we will make sure that we take into consideration, the weather, and whether it is actually safe enough for us to film.

Overall we aim to produce an effective trailer, that is original and tests our knowledge and use of technology as to how trailers are put together in the filming industry.
